Green Fusion, a Berlin-based AI technology company, has secured €12 million in funding to expand its intelligent heating optimization solutions. According to the company's announcement, the investment round was led by HV Capital and XAnge, with participation from existing investors including BitStone Capital, Übermorgen Ventures, and Brandenburg Kapital.

The company's AI-powered software currently helps reduce heating costs and CO2 emissions by an average of 16% in residential buildings. For a housing company with 100 heating systems, this translates to annual savings of over €233,000 after deducting installation and software costs.

Green Fusion plans to establish a dedicated division focusing on renewable energy systems integration. The new unit will develop AI-driven solutions to efficiently manage and operate the interaction between heat pumps, photovoltaic systems, and electric mobility infrastructure.

The company has set an ambitious growth target for 2025, aiming to optimize 3,000 existing systems in multi-family buildings - a 300% increase compared to 2024. Paul Hock, founder and CEO of Green Fusion, explains: "The heating transition is making everything more complex. We no longer just have a central heat generator and electricity from the grid. Multiple generators and consumers, as well as different manufacturers within a building, require intelligent control."

More than 100 prominent housing companies and cooperatives, including Gewobag and Rheinwohnungsbau, already use Green Fusion's solution. The company provides a complete package, including hardware, installation, software, and AI technology, supporting all common heating system types from gas heating to district heating and modern renewable systems.
