Berlin-based healthtech startup aescolab has secured fresh funding to accelerate its AI-powered blood analytics platform. The investment, led by Copenhagen-based ESG impact fund KRING, will fuel the company's expansion across Germany and into international markets.

According to the company's press release, aescolab uses artificial intelligence to analyze blood biomarkers and generate personalized health reports for both individuals and corporate clients. Since launching in May 2024, the platform has already served over 1,000 users and partnered with several major German corporations to integrate blood-based insights into their employee wellness programs.

"aescolab represents the kind of mission-driven, data-centric innovation we back," said Martin Kring, Founder of KRING. The ESG-focused investor praised the company's scalable, tech-based approach to prevention and workplace health.

The startup's platform delivers actionable health recommendations by analyzing key blood values, helping companies reduce sick days while empowering individuals to take control of their health journey. CEO Stephan Alexander Dreier positions the company as a solution to "one of the most urgent challenges in the modern workplace: keeping people healthy and performing at their best."

To support this growth phase, aescolab has assembled an impressive advisory team including René Svendsen-Tune (former CEO of GN Store Nord) as Chairman, Jens Bjørn Andersen (former CEO of DSV), and Dr. Patrick Simon (former Senior Partner at McKinsey Germany).

The funding round reflects growing investor interest in preventive healthcare solutions that combine AI technology with traditional medical testing. aescolab aims to establish itself as Europe's leading health partner for forward-thinking companies that prioritize employee wellbeing as a strategic advantage.
