Berlin-based Enter has secured €20 million in Series B funding to scale its AI-driven platform for energy-efficient renovations across Europe. The round brings the company's total funding to over €40 million since its 2020 founding, according to the company's press release.

The funding round was led by returning investors including Coatue, Target Global, noa (formerly A/O Proptech), Partech, and Foundamental, with new participation from SE Ventures, Schneider Electric's venture arm.

Enter's platform addresses a massive market opportunity: over 180 million European buildings require comprehensive energy upgrades by 2050. The company has developed an AI-powered system that digitally analyzes properties in minutes, generating tailored renovation plans based on CO₂ pricing, subsidies, and energy costs.

The automation has delivered impressive efficiency gains. Enter reports a 70% reduction in manual energy assessment work and a 60% decrease in operational staff while tripling customer volume. The platform analyzed over 30,000 buildings in Q2 2025 alone, with one employee now handling work that previously required four energy consultants.

Strategic partnerships with major players like Dr. Klein, Allianz, and Engel & Völkers position Enter at key decision points in the property lifecycle. These alliances provide access to over 6 million households annually, integrating renovation planning into real estate transactions, financing, and insurance processes.

"Enter is no longer just an energy consulting company – we are the infrastructure for climate-neutral living," said CEO and co-founder Max Schroeren in the press release. "Our AI analyzes and orchestrates thousands of renovations in parallel – enabling millions of households to finally take action."

The platform connects property owners with a network of over 100 qualified contractors, automating the matching process and reducing project timelines from weeks to minutes. With rising energy prices and regulatory pressure from initiatives like the EU Renovation Wave, Enter positions itself as critical infrastructure for Europe's climate goals.

Founded by Max Schroeren, Justus Menten, and Alex Müller, Enter plans to use the funding to expand into the mass market, targeting hundreds of thousands of households annually.
