The Berlin-based startup Myosotis has raised €10.5M in a series A funding round, as the ecosystem Flying Health reports. Their product is myo, an app that connects care facilities, the residents’ relatives, as well as service providers, enabling families to participate in their loved ones’ everyday lives by exchanging pictures or making video calls, with modules for ordering meals or even medicines from the pharmacy. The idea is to integrate external care providers such as physiotherapists, hairdressers or florists in a marketplace. Among Myosotis’ 400 or so customers in the DACH region are well-known non-profits such as DRK (the German Red Cross), the workers’ welfare organization AWO, and the voluntary humanitarian organization Johanniter. Myo has also made inroads in the UK market already and intends to use the investment to drive growth and product development.
