Just 4 Noise: AI Sounds for Music Producers
The Just 4 Noise team is very happy.
Picture this: you're in the studio, you know exactly what sound you need, but two hours later you're still digging through sample libraries and the creative momentum is gone. That frustration is what drove Berlin-based producer and data scientist Max Shafer to co-found Just 4 Noise alongside ML engineer Henning Nobmann.
The concept is straightforward. Instead of scrolling through thousands of presets, producers type a description of the sound they want, and Just 4 Noise generates a unique, royalty-free one-shot sample or instrument on the spot. It drops straight into any DAW, fitting the track rather than forcing the producer to compromise.
According to a release from investor BADideas.fund, the startup has attracted around 4,000 users without a single euro spent on paid marketing. On the enterprise side, ten audio companies already integrate Just 4 Noise models into their products, including heavyweights like Native Instruments and Orchestral Tools.
The team's focus on sound quality, creative control, and ethical data sourcing appears to be paying off. Users are adopting it as a core production tool rather than a novelty. The startup's mission is clear: make music production feel like a creative process again, not a chore.
BADideas.fund invested alongside Soundvest and several angel investors, with support from ALTUM under the Pre-Seed and Seed Stage Venture Capital Fund, co-financed by the European Union.
