Berlin-based AI company Parloa has secured $120 million in Series C funding, reaching a $1 billion valuation, according to a company press release. The firm specializes in Agentic AI for customer experience and plans to expand operations across North America and Europe.
Led by Durable Capital Partners, Altimeter Capital, and General Catalyst, this funding round follows just 12 months after Parloa's $66 million Series B. Since then, the company has quadrupled its revenue and released its AI Agent Management Platform (AMP), which is specifically designed for enterprise contact centers.
"The way people interact with businesses is changing forever," said Malte Kosub, CEO and co-founder of Parloa. "We've been at the forefront of that change and are helping enterprises transform customer service with AI."
Founded in 2018 by Kosub and Stefan Ostwald, Parloa has gained the trust of multiple Fortune 200 companies. Their technology enables brands to build and deploy highly personalized AI agents that undergo rigorous testing before launch.
The market timing appears optimal, as Gartner predicts that by 2029, agentic AI will autonomously resolve 80% of common customer service issues without human intervention. Additionally, enterprise spending on generative AI applications increased eightfold in 2024, with nearly a third directed toward customer support solutions.
"We're proud to lead this Series C funding round and partner with Parloa's impressive leadership team," said Henry Ellenbogen of Durable Capital Partners, while Apoorv Agrawal from Altimeter Capital noted that Parloa is "not just streamlining customer service—they're elevating the entire customer experience."
The new funding will support Parloa's continued development of new AMP capabilities while recruiting top international talent as they expand their current workforce of about 300 employees across Berlin, Munich, and New York.
