n8n, the open-source workflow automation platform, has secured a significant €55 million Series B funding round led by Highland Europe. The investment marks a pivotal moment for the company, which has grown from a personal coding project to a global solution used by over 200,000 users and 3,000+ enterprises.

Founder Jan Oberhauser, who initially built n8n to solve his own workflow frustrations, shared the company's vision in a press release. The funding will be used to expand the team, enhance educational resources, and continue developing AI-powered automation tools that aim to augment human capabilities.

What sets n8n apart is its unique approach to workflow automation. The platform offers a flexible, developer-friendly environment that simultaneously remains accessible to non-technical users. Major companies like Vodafone and Delivery Hero are already leveraging n8n to streamline their operations and eliminate manual work.

The company is particularly excited about integrating AI directly into workflows, enabling users to process complex data and make intelligent decisions automatically. Oberhauser emphasizes that their goal is not to replace human work but to enhance human potential through smart, adaptable automation technologies.

With this funding, n8n is poised to continue its mission of making powerful automation tools accessible to everyone, transforming how people interact with technology and work.
